If there were 20 stars for Joe, I WOULD GLADLY GIVE THEM ALL!!!  I refer to this post as "DJ Joe to the rescue."  Where do I possibly begin?

We were 3 weeks out from our big day (10/17/15), when our DJ didn't show up to our venue visit and texted us 3 hours later that she was "running late."  Hmmm - NOT A GOOD START.  We ended that right away but were scrambling to find a DJ.  We also hadn't been able to get a hold of our previous one AT ALL - so we hadn't picked music, given an outline/timelines, ANYTHING to her because she was impossible to get a hold of.  

We found Joe on Yelp and thankfully - the date was still open.  By the grace of God!  From that point on, it was smooth sailing.  Joe has such a convenient platform for any couple getting married.  You simply add the songs (trust me ---- he has just about every song you could want old or new), and you can add comments next to them for what the song is for - "dance floor" or "first dance" or "bouquet toss."  He has little category tabs that make it very easy to customize your music.  He also has a timeline tab for you to add the flow of the evening so you can feel secure that he knows exactly what to expect.  

Now we had an outdoor venue so the fact that he had up-lighting was just a bonus (and might I add - this is all at a VERY inexpensive cost).  We had looked for DJ's forever and Joe has the best prices around.  The backyard was lit really well around the dance floor and all the special touches Joe added were never asked for - just something he did to make our day special.  Since we had a video - we rented his projection screen for the night.  The only thing we needed on that was the actual video at the time it was being played (2 minutes in the middle of dinner).  We had our wedding logo on the screen for the rest of the night and were totally satisfied with that.  But Joe took it one step further.  To our surprise during the entire dance floor portion of the night - he played music videos with the songs!  WHAT?????!!!!!!  We were beyond excited about that.  I mean.....I'm a workout guru so I love seeing music videos play during my spin classes or any other workout I do.  But on the dance floor --- just made it that much more awesome and high tech.  He made sure the night kept a good pace and flow and I even feel like at points throughout the night I would give him a little look (like --- ummm ---- wrap up this slow dance because no one is feeling it), and he saw my look and just did it!  

I don't want to totally bore you with our review but lets just say hiring Joe was a blessing in disguise.  At first, we were super bummed our original DJ didn't just pull through and do her job.  But on the other hand, we wouldn't have been able to hire Joe.  He made our day so special.  He went above and beyond ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that was asked of him.  We appreciate everything you did for us in such a short amount of time Joe.  We will be referring anyone we can your way.  You are the TRUE definition of a professional and you kept us worry free on our wedding day.  

Thank you just doesn't do it justice.  But we hope this review can be a partial thank you for all that you did to make our wedding a memorable one.  Pictures to follow!

If your looking for an awesome DJ this is your guy. He was our DJ for our wedding 1-7-16 and let me tell you he was great! Joe was very organized and professional and was happy to go the extra mile for us . If your thinking about getting the photo booth GET IT!! Looking around:
One of the advices that I've heard is to get yourself a great disk jockey.  After interviewing a young DJ he had demonstrated so many red flags.  One of the main issue was punctuality.  I tried to cut corners and hire a mediocre dj for less.  Man I was glad I didn't go down that road.

Made our choice:
My fiancée and I were looking around on Yelp, just like you are and saw Joe Casillas.  Those red and white stars really yanked us by the neck and convinced us to stay and read other people's comments about Joe.  We liked what we read and decided to call him to interview. Let me say that Joe was beyond awesome.  The man was professional on many levels, and yes he was on time.  We decided to hire him.

Leading up to our wedding:
Joe made himself readily available.  Sending over our wedding slide show was easy.  Choosing our music was all online, all categorized by each event that took place thorough out the wedding such as dedications, garter toss, mother and son dance etc.  Easy I'm telling you. Fellas, if you're like me, I like to procrastinate, but going online and choosing my music and watching ESPN highlights was easy and fun.

Day of the wedding:
I had some issue's with my suit!  Ahhh!  It was something straight out of a movie, no lie!  Ultimately everything was fixed and my wife didn't even know.  One thing I didn't have to worry about was Joe.  He arrived early with his help, set up and he did his thing.  We had a blast! Everyone who attended had a great time.  I couldn't have asked for anything else.

Message to Joe:
Joe, you made our wedding unforgettable.  You were able to keep up with sudden changes, you were professional, I really like that you are a member of toastmasters.  You don't see that too much in a DJ.  I'm glad I had a videographer to record the party because I want to relive that over and over again.  You were more than a vendor, you did everything in your power to make me and my wife have a great time.  Thank you Joe!

If you are looking for a professional, look no further! I am also in the wedding industry and it was very difficult to find the perfect DJ for my wedding. I met with Joe and instantly knew he was the one to ROCK my wedding! We wanted a modern / classy wedding which demanded very high expectations from each vendor to make it come together. Joe was amazing, he visited the venue prior to the day to evaluate the set up if each item he was bringing, not to mention he also put up with my hectic schedule, and was at the venue many hours before the wedding started. I could not be any happier with his work. He is truly a hard working individual that puts the customer service first (which is hard to find now a days). Not to mention he was more reasonable in price than many others!! Do yourself a favor and pick this guy! If I ever need a DJ again I will definitely contact him first!! With wedding planning being as stressful as it is, Joe not only put us at ease with his great work as a DJ and MC during the wedding, but also during the preparation process. When you work with him, you can tell he has done this before! Joe hosted our daughter's quince on 10/3/15 and he was AMAZING!!! The music was great, he kept everyone on their feet all night. Joe is very professional, and we received many compliments from our guest about him. The up lighting was wonderful, it totally made our room look complete. We also had a huge screen where Joe was playing the videos of the songs he was playing. Everyone loved that. We are so happy with Joe and would definitely use him again.

Joe was awesome! His presence and performance was greatly appreciated by my husband and myself. He went above and beyond our expectations in both the planning process and the execution. The website he creates for each couple helps organize your planning, your playlist, and your wedding day timeline. When my husband and I met with Joe 2 weeks before the wedding, we didn't have any of this filled out so he explained each aspect of the website and even helped us start filling it out. He helped us focus on the main songs for each event to be listed and said we could use genres for dancing. There is plenty of room for notes, so we placed examples next to the genres. He even showed us what he can do with the lighted and monograms for the venue. We left that meeting feeling relieved, because we knew Joe was going to be the main aspect to tie the whole wedding together. And, he certainly was! My husband and I were completely blown away with what he was able to do with the venue. It's a big empty space that he turned from plain Jane to an instant party scene with the lighting, the monogram, his setup, and even the music video projector. His MC services were on point, and he kept us on track for the day before announcing any event. He was able to understand the genres we wanted played during our dinner and dancing, and everyone loved the song choices. The dance floor was full the entire night and I salute Joe for reading my picky family when it comes to music. We thank him for being there for such a long day with us and making it awesome.

By the way, Joe, we have a big family, so you haven't seen the last of us!

We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday on 11/29/14.  DJ Joe was great.  He was very accomodating with last minute changes and addition.  He was well prepared and set up everything on time.  He was our MC and he handled the crowd well.  The young adults were all on the dance floor.  He played variety of music for young and old. His music was spread out through the room.  The lights were good and the screen was great.  We did not experience any issues with DJ Joe.  His cost is practical and all worth it.

Joe was our DJ in September, 2013 to celebrate my birthday in our backyard. Joe provided non-stop dance music from the 60s to the latest hits. I was able to provide him with a list of my favority salsa music which he incorporated with his music. He also set up a screen to showcase the musicians/groups playing each song. This was a big hit with the guests. Joe added landscape lights to our backyard. So beautiful with my favorite colors! We received so many compliments on his "DJing," the music and landscape lighting. He is a super nice guy too! We definitely will rehire Joe for our next party. We highly recommend him.

Planning parties for the LAPD is no easy task. Officers are picky and their taste of music is broad that it truly presents a HUGE challenge. Experience has taught me that the DJ will make or break a party so never having met this DJ prior to the night of our recent divisional Christmas party, I was nervous to say the least.

The DJ arrived early to set up so that by the time I arrived (two hours prior to start of social hour), the DJ had already set up his lights, video screen and all equipment which was VERY impressive (off to a good start!).

My scheduled MC called me at the last second to advise me he was ill and would not be attending the event. I asked the DJ at the last second if he could handle MC duties for the evening to which he replied "Of course" . Once again, DJ to the rescue.

As dinner was served, the DJ showed videos on a huge screen which was VERY cool! Having dinner while watching the Eagles "Hotel California" in concert had all 250 guests watching the video instead of eating for several minutes.

The DJ was AWESOME, very professional & understanding to guests musical tastes.  

I HIGHLY recommend Professional Disc Jockey's, Inc. and will hire them in the future

One other thing, your photo booth was a HUGE hit!!

DJ Joe provided music, lighting, and video at our wedding in July of 2013. Everyone had a blast and was really impressed with the videos playing in sync with the music! He was able to provide excellent sound equipment for the reception as well as the ceremony, which were in separate locations at the venue. The equipment he provided for the outdoor ceremony included wireless mics for our pastor and guest speakers. He also provided the outdoor ceremony music which was executed flawlessly. When it came time for my parents reception I was praying that part would be top notch, the family was not disappointed. DJ JOE was first of all....on time, very professional as a D.J. & M.C., prior to the reception date he researched what kind of songs my parents would prefer and that was important because my parents don't "twerk" lol DJ JOE played a variety of music from old school to top 40 and everything in between that will make you shake things you didn't know you had. DJ JOE also shows videos on multiple screens in tune to the songs that are played, very enjoyable for those oldie but goodies who are the seat observers in the family. Hopefully one miraculous day I will hire DJ JOE for my wedding lol I highly recommend D.J. Joe for any family occasion.
